The Mac Mini is incapable of playing this game. Running poorly means that even on low graphics settings the vanilla game will be slow. Running fairly means achieving a playable frame rate at medium-high graphics settings with a large population. Running well means achieving a high frame rate at highest graphics settings with a large population and modifications from the Steam Workshop. I am going to use c o l o u r codes to show whether the listed machines will run the game well, fairly, or poorly. The oldest version of OS X that Cities Skylines will run on is OS X 10.9 "Mavericks", the game does not support any of the "Big Cat" versions of OS X. To find out what version of OS X your Mac is running, and the model of your Mac, you can click on the System Menu (the one with the Apple symbol) and click About This Mac. So I'm writing this thread, maybe it'll be pinned and maybe not, but I think it will be useful, especially to people who are interested in buying Skylines but do not know whether it will run well on their Mac. As a fellow Mac user, this is a shame because depending on your hardware configuration you should be able to run the game just as well as on any Windows or Ubuntu/Debian/SteamOS machine. I see an awful lot of Mac users on here complaining about poor game performance.
